What:

A 5 mile run/ 5K run & walk through the colorful city of Deerfield Beach which will start at the beach & end at the beach with all proceeds benefitting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County

When:

Sunday Oct. 2nd, 2011. Race begins at 7:30 (Hillsboro Blvd South of Federal will close at 7:00 a.m.)

Starting Line:

South of the Main Deefield Beach Parking located on Ocean Way & SE 2nd Street

Course/Distance:

5M&5K Run (USATF Certified, Fl 92026DL,) Gene Witkowski
FK Walk- (3.10miles) (not judged or timed)

Awards:

Awards given in the 5M & 5K run to top Male & Female overall, Masters Male & Female overall, Three Deep in Age Groups, Wheelchair Male & Female overall.

Divisions:

Divisions starting at 9 & under, 5 year age groups to 75 & over

Transportation and Parking:

There will be free but limited parking in the main beach parking lot. Paid parking is also available at the beach. The parking garage located at 123 N.E. 20th Ave has been so generous to offer a $6 flat fee for all Dunn's Run participants. Plenty of free parking will also be provided at The cove Restaurant & Marina!

Timing System:

We will be using the d-tag timing system. This d-tag will be adhered to your race number. On the morning of the race, you will peel the d-tag off the race number and follow the directions on how to place it on your shoe.
